Waxman Alumni Torah

The start:

Ten years ago, Rabbi Mendy Fellig had a chance to visit the town of Lubavitch, Russia, seat of the Chabad movement for 102 years (1815-1917). To memorialize this trip, a new Torah scroll was commissioned, with its first words written at the resting place of 3rd and 4th Rebbe’s of Chabad, Rabbi Menachem Mendel the Tzemach Tsedek, and his son the Rabbi Shmuel of Lubavitch).

At the time there was no date set for its completion, but we knew that Hashem would show us when the time was right.

The Middle:

A few month ago, Yonatan Waxman, class of 2013, was talking to Rabbi Mendy Fellig about making a significant gift towards a meaningful which would be used for generations of students to come. Rabbi Mendy remembered the Torah scroll waiting to be completed, made the suggestion, and the Waxman Alumni Torah Project is launched.

The continuation:

With our Torah nearing completion we invite our alumni to join with Yonatan and be a part of the WAXMAN ALUMNI TORAH! Sponsor a verse, section, or more.

ONE TORAH. ONE NATION.
